hey guy just seein if anyone done mods to there auto gearboxs like shift kits, making it stronger in anyway? any info would be great and where u got in done.

yer i know so no one has done work to there auto gearbox????? what about when u put a turbo on ??? standard autogear box holds up????

To make it any stronger it has to get rebuilt, to make it shift faster/harder you can get an electronic shift kit, I think theres a doc on here how to make one, and jaycar sell one I think as well.

Shiftkits.com.au also sell the shiftkits to suit and come fully assembled, just have to find the right wires on the loom to wire it all up. They have staged ones and an adjustable one.

I dont really know what can be done to make the auto any stronger apart from a full rebuild like suggested. You can get kevlar bands fitted when you get it rebuilt. Id suggest the use of a big mofo good quality transcooler too, heat is one major killer in auto's
