o.k, i was going to get a stage 2 engine from ITS PERFORMANCE, but i live in sa and im a bit dodgy about it cummin all the way to sa (if anything goes wrong, its a bit far away LOL) so i was just wondering if any one know of an engine builder or performance joint in SA that are good with fords (and not too pricey) cheers

Chris Milton Engine Developments on Main North Rd are excellent IMO and know a lot about falcon I6 and V8 engines, but they only deal with engine building, not removal, installation and tuning etc although I am sure they can suggest a mechanic to do all that work if you need it. Give them a call, they are more than happy to give info, they have helped quite a few SA members out. They aren't the cheapest out there, but I dont think they are overpriced for the quality work they do.

try checking out c&M engine services. Charlotte st Smithfield (5 min nth then elizabeth) he does cam's and extensive head work. he formally owned og speed shop at ottoway. give him a go. he is als very cheep but work is outstanding.

Another engine builder is Mildren automotive, mainly deals with Mazdas but He knows his stuff .
