Hi to all.

I occasionally see the eaton M112 blowers for sale on ebay. Are these any good???? Are they similar to a whipple or a roots type blower?? I've been thinking about one for my XR8 220.......

Cheers.

They would be the perfect size for a 5L.

There is a bit of fabrication to be done to get them to fit, no doubt it is easy enough to get it done and fit under the bonnet.

Unfortunately there is nothing on the market for the eaton blower in the form of a kit to get them to fit. I have investigated looking at it (as a mate had a f*cked m90 in his possesion) we were holding it in different orientations, I reckon using the explorer lower (and keeping fuel lines stock, etc) that a plenum could be made up and clear the bonnet line with ease by mounting it offset towards the passenger side. A rear mount entry for the intake would be ideal too, you could almost get away with using the stock airbox.
