I'll warn you now, if you have front end bush problems, i'd get it fixed like tomorrow or you wont be having those tyres for long. |

Had all the front end bushe's checked out this week and apparently they are all fine. Now i'm back to square one as to whats wrong with the steering.
I suppose "tramlining" might be the cause although it does not seem to describe exactly what the problem is i'm having with the steering

Have been replaced in the past under your ownership? Or at all?
If not, I'd still do them. As I said, with the original rubber bushes, they are near impossible to tell if they are rooted on a hoist. They need loads on them to do that. |

Haha - yeah well, this is Cairns - so you can NEVER find any f--king thing you want locally "sorry mate, gotta get that up from Townsville or Brisbane" - and then to top it off you get screwed for price. Good example - went to the Bunnings warehouse place in town - huge place similar to the one/s in Townsville. Was looking for foldup chairs - in Towsville Bunnings there's about 30 different types - at this Cairns place there were - wait for it: 3.... And a shop stooge who overheard my wife say something along the lines of "oh, this must be the wrong section - they can't only have 3 types" got REALLY snotty and border line abused us in the process of "explaining" that we did indeed have the folding chairs section!!!

Not while iv'e had the car anyway, yeah i think i will get them done anyway.

Well iv'e just handed back the rex to my brother, a fairly different drive to the falcon.
A question, should i just replace the lower control arm bushes or just replace the whole lot and how much would i be up for if i did the whole lot? Thanks.

so arm79.../are u basically saying that the only way to check the bush properly is to remove the arm completely and have a look?
also i remeber u saying a while ago that u have replaced yours a couple of times and that they dont last very long...is that right?
