Hi all.

I have an NC I Fairlane V8.

I revoved the PCV valve the other day to replace it and noticed that the gauze underneath it in the manifold is completely blocked....

i read that all you have to do is grab a hold of the tags and pull it out... i tried this and bent the tags without it budging....

is there some sort of spring clip holding it in?

can i punch a whole through it to let air through? will it fall into the motor?

any advice is appreciated
