i bought a block the other day freshly honed wondering if i can tell if its from an ea or ef, if it will accomodate a knock sensor and are the cranks different or worthwhile changing?

there is no hole for a knock sensor in the ea block but you can bolt a au type knock sensor to where the ea coil mounts...
as for the crank im not to sure about the differences there might be a casting number on the crank aswell.. i know the ea crank has hollow sections where the rods bolt on.. and you can put any head from ea to au.. they all fit ..
