Gday guys as you can see from my subject heading i want to know what is involved in swapping BF clusters to a BA.
I ask as im looking at putting in a BF fairlane cluster into my BA futura when i do the dual zone conversion. Thanks |

Easiest would be, I assume you're after the look of the dials? Just swap the dial graphics over.
Anything else will require re-programming the cluster for your car.

this site has some info on it. i know you can change the cluster quite easily from the ba xt to the ba fpv as ive done it. mine came from a car with traction control though, so i had a warning light stay illuminated on the dash. it is possible to remove some of that type of stuff with an elm scantool if you know what your doing. otherwise ford can flash your car to reprogram the cluster to your cars specs..... think it cost about $70 to have my car flashed when i changed the icc and bem. ring ford and ask for prices to be sure though |

i was asking because i can get the cluster along with the dual zone icc etc out of a fairlane wreck. I intend on doing the conversion and the cluster would just top it off. i dont mind paying to have it reprogrammed but wanted to make sure there would be no other issues cheers |
