anyone know any good engine replacement workshops in or around dandenong. my el wagon is getting a little tyred and is blowing a s*&^load of smoke so its time for a birthday.

thanks mate il keep you in mind, the wagon went in saterday for an engine change, however my eb went bang today and now has a big knock in the engine and alot of oil and alot of smoke so its not sounding good for old eb.

What workshop are you taking your car into? I've been looking around for some as well but didn't wanna take the plunge just yet cos I rather have people's review of that workshop. Oh and how much. Thanks heaps

OZWreckers in dandy only charged me 1000 for an el xr6 engine supplied and installed into my fairmont ghia. They stole my tickford snorkel though which p****d me off.

That's pretty good mate, i only live about 15 mins from that place. I hope to god they can do conversion though. Thanks heaps

i got an el engine from tar (total auto recyclers) for $550 very low klms and motor one fitted it for $350 all i had to do was drop the car at motor one which is next door to tar and pick the car up the next day, very happy with the new engine.
i now have an eb that needs an engine replacement as it blew on me on the way to hallam the othernight so im thinking of putting an el engine in it and will use motor one to do it. |

my eb goes in tomorrow to get an ef engine fitted, should have it back tuesday.
