i have an ef gli, i pulled a bit of the dash apart for a bit of a clean and noticed these plugs.
i have been thinking about putting a clock in the dash but i thought i would have had to run in a new part of the loom so i havnt really bothered but are these plugs for the dash clock and maybe even the trip computer aswell? next one is below where the ash try is i though it maybe for the auto models as i have a manual. and the third is just in front of the ash tray and thought it may be for auto models aswell. just wondering what they all do. cheers!

2. Centre Console loom connector. Goes to the Power window switches, auto selector illumination, economy switch and rear footwell light. None are applicable to you, thats why there is no loom.
The plug plugged into the blank where the clock would go is for the clock. If you buy a clock, plug it into that connector, it will work no worries. Go for it, looks much nicer than the blank. You can also get a trip computer and put it there, you will need to add another wire from the gauge cluster though. Still easy however. |

that's the one your chasing, and as above you could do the trip comp if you prefer with out to much effort, I have one for sale if your interested, but a clock will just plug in, hey presto.

Just to clarify...im pretty sure that connector is not for power window switches....for power windows switch comes from the body/floor loom plugs. the rest is correct. Also..... the third plugs i think its for the auto select light....i think.
