g'day people my first post im so proud.

anyway what im investigating is tinting the taillights of my black fairmont.
i've had a look and realised that they might look a bit funny with that garnish in the middle so just wondering what you guys reckon the best route to go with the fairmont is.

either tint the whole lot including the garnish? could look a bit strange.

or do what someone else on this forum did (sorry i cant find the thread that had the pic), make the indicators and orange part of the garnish clear.

this is completely unrelated but the cars currently at mechanics getting head gasket changed :( poor thing dunno how much thats gonna cost me :(

don't tint them .. if someone runs into your a*** and you have tinted tail lights, you will get blamed for it, becauise its illegal,

then you will have no insurance, and have to fork out money to fix the persons car who hit you, and repairs to your own car.

Ummm.. buy the looks of Glenneaux Taillights in his pic I think they are fairly dark as it is. Whereas the EL tailights seem to always be brighter than must other models. But the thing is dont go stupid with the Nightshade and dont make it "FULLY SIC MOITE" black then you should be alright. Just make it a light Tint.

hehe fair enough.

I'm not in too much of a hurry just tossing it up at the moment. One mod i really like is the BA headlights, that would be interesting to do. I still gotta pay off the mechanics bill though!

I think a good start is to tint the windows and get it sitting right, i don't know what the go with it is but if you look at it from the side the rear end is sitting higher than the front, can look funny at times.

rang the mechanic today turns out it wasnt head gasket i had some broken head studs... handy..........
