The best oil filter wrench i have used is my right hand, if that doesnt work, use a screw driver

I use one of those 3 legged claw ones, dont know what brand it is, but it does the job well, all you need is a ratchet and a 3/8 drive extension to get it too reach up there to the filter then undo. Good for cars that have had the oil filters put on too bloody tight. Using your hand is by far the easiest way though, aslong as the filter isnt screwed on too tight

Over the years I have used various tools from that rubber grip handle to a tool brought at supercheap that only undoes the the filter it goes on a 3/8 socket and you turn. The screwdriver is great for stubbon ones and the last filter change i did i brought a "DRIFT" filter that had a 16mm like nut weleded onto the base mate that one was easy a piss to install and removal should be just as easy

Buy a filter claw, they are great never met a filter they won't remove. Or better still use K&N filters they have a nut welded to the base of them so you can just use a socket to remove them!
