Been trying to work out if i fit a au xr8 motor in my car or just freshin up my motor, well im going tofreshin my current motor its easier..current mods to my car is pacemakers,cats,3'' exhaust,k&n with huge air intake, cammed ?? maybe, chipped No,when i bought i was told it was chipped and cammed but checked the computer this week and its not.It makes 227rwhp on the dyno which i think is too much for bolt ons,its a 5spd too.

The shopping list so far is -1.72 yella terra rollers, mellings HV oil pump, arp oil pump drive, mains & conrod bearings, molly rings, arp rod bolts..

Im going to port the heads(e7),match port the intake, exhaust and fit explorer manifold. The motor seems really happy and loves the revlimiter so i dont want to change too much just freshin it up

I have a set of worked Spotrsman heads for sale if you are interested, looking at $4400 with 1.7 trickflow roller rockers. They are steelies with 2.08 intake and 1.6 exhaust valves. These heads flow 500hp easily. Were freshened less than 2000k ago. They are currently fitted to my tired 5.0.
Forget about you E7 heads if you want some decent power.
Also got some alloy Trickflow twisted wedge 225's but they need assembly.
PM me for cost of the Alloys
Brett

I have a second set of E7s here for $50 if you want to port them while your car is still on the road. Nil cracks and nil warpage but bare no springs or valves.

i've picked a complete 5L nc fairlane motor for $300 with 120k on it,going pull it down and check it over but not sure if im going to build a high comp motor or low comp for boosting purposes.Anyway on friday arvo i fitted up my 1.72 yella terra roller rockers to my current motor i couldnt stand looking at them sitting there doing nothink ,there made a noticable differance with more power all over the rev range and throttle response..but hard to tell how much its picked up in speed wise as its been raining and just kept letting loose

been looking at my options latey and will just rebuild the motor for now,was thinking of selling it minus a few bits and do a nc v8 turbo sleeper. The xr8 has had a few pic's in street fords of late no51 & 53 and has kept me in 2 minds to sell it or not but anyway just thught i'd put a pic up of my air box induction and see what you's thought too and now i've worked out how to re size pic's and get em here there will be more pic's added
