ltd level ride problemshi all, l have a 94 dc ltd that is doing some different thing in the level ride suspension,sometimes when parked it will fire up compressor and pump until the battery is flat if you dont realise. if you do hear it running and turn ignition on and off a few times it will stop??????? been through wiring diagrams and cant see how it is turning on with ignition off. any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated , thanks peterb

The relay is probably either corroded or worn enough that some times it connects the circuit, even without the switch on power there. Turning the ign on and off a couple of times like you say can retract the relay. So try another relay.

Yes the dreaded self levelling suspension, i had it in my NF 5lt thoght i was s**t hot too til it started mucking up, i have seen NOS shocks on ebay from time to time, compressors still available (albeit horribly expensive @1200 bucks) but mine had to have a dodgy level switch - too many head aches too long a story , now has pedders rear springs and shocks no more annoying dash beeping!
