Sorry to the authors to use your quotes below, but that is what a search turned up on the subject. I currently have an EL gli and am wondering if any other models had longer wheel studs or any of the below statements can be confirmed?
thanks nick PIMP_LTD wrote: WILDEB wrote: Dumpsta wrote: The other thing to be aware of is, Ive heard that you have to grind your studs to shorten them so they dont protrude past the hub adapter, not sure if this has to be done in all cases. since when? fairmont studs are longer than gli studs, by alot. the studs on my EF Fairmont are pretty long, and it looks like no way you could get an AU offset wheel on there in conjuction with a hub adaptor
hope this info helps |

I have an EF Futura - the studs are too long for the 35mm hub adaptors (lucky there are indents on the rims for them)
