If you'd seen my car bra after 5700km of country and night driving, you'd understand why... Otherwise it would be all attached to my front bar.

I had the attitude about Car Bras being stupid etc ( I still find people that use them 24/7 dopey) They do save front from paint chips and alike. I am only got one so I don't have to worry about stonechips etc prior to the AFD and it will come in handy on the various trips I do to Newcastle and around.

the bras are only made to be put on prior to a long trip and removed once car is parked. I made a phone call to the makers of the bra and it was explained to me how it fitted etc.

I was washing trucks for a while when I was younger, they have they had they're fair share, but you see them on cars that probably get driven f**k all etc.
like fair enough if you've got a real nice car, and you do long haul on occasions, but some things, like I saw one on some little box Suzuki looking thing, reminds me of that kia soul thing.
No way you'd do a long haul in one of them, and just looked like a cheap box of s**t.

after my car got painted i was like "no way im puttin a car bra on" cos i was scared of scuffing the paint.

After a few stone chips and a recent respray i realised id rather light scuffs that stone chips as scuffs can be polished out but chips need hi-filling and respraying.

so now i keep the bra on when going on the hi way.
