Hi,
Thinking of installing twin pod guages( electrical oil&volts )into my xr8 ute and i Know you have to change the oil sender unit over .Went down to my local ford dealer and they told me the unit would cost $270. Would anyone be able to help me with the best place to buy an after market one and send me photos of it and how to install both guages.
Any help would be very helpfull.
Thanks Greg.

I fitted a T piece and adapters when a slapped in the Autometer sender unit.

Take the original sender and the new aux sender for the gauge to a hose repair place or a spare parts shop and tell them what you want to do.

Thread sealant on the joints and happy days.

FPV, adds an adapter, and adds the oil temp and pressure sensors. The factory oil switch (for triggering the warning light) remains and continues to do it's job.

First mistake = going to Ford Spares for prices.

You can get an adapter that fits where your oil filter goes. Got one on mine and run oil temp and oil pressure off it.
