G"Day, because of the EL conversion I have decided to go and put in the knock sensor. I know AU and EL Knock sensors are different but have heard that if you get the AU knock sensor plug and wiring it is a matter of wiring it on. But what I am unsure of is what wire does what, I just want to make sure i'm wiring it up to the right thing etc.
EL = Blue/Black , Blue/yellow AU= Yellow, Yellow/Red I'm asking because my motor is an AU Motor Cheers kyle

Looking at my EL 1996-1998 Gregory's manual the knock sensor is
Black/White- pin 46 ECU Sensor Earth (bridges with map sensor, coolant temp sensor, intake temp sensor etc) Yellow/Red-pin 23 ECU Knock sensor signal

cheers, after a bit of searching, I have found this out
AU = Yellow/Red=(Knock Sensor Main Line), Yellow=(Signal Ground) So I now need to know where they match up on, EL = Blue/Black(Unknown) , Blue/yellow(Unknown)

I connected the Black/Blue wire to the Sensor Ground Pin 46 (intercepted at the Map Sensor), and the Black Yellow to the Pin from the ECU.
