Well ive decided i will not be modding my ED!!!

The reason why is i have a NF Lane Ghia and it has everything i want and all i have to do is convert it to T5 with hydraulic clutch.

I cleaned the ED today so theese will be the last pics i will post of it on here..

i will start a new thread for my lane

Well guys, the ED blew the head gasket today! Its my wifes car and she is not interested in fixing it. Rather than fixing it and flogging it off im going to rape it for a few parts for my lane and wreck it.

Some of the parts going to my lane are

Gas tank
Gas converter
Extractors

And I hear break boosters in box cars are more extractor friendly than the EF/EL ones.

Any ideas as to what other parts are worth while taking from a boxcar with intending t but them into a NL fairlane are welcome.

We are going car hunting tomorrow, and not for a ford :( . My wife has never been a fan of fords and never liked the ED. So we are looking for a 2000/01 magna, at least we are not going to have a holden in the driveway  .

Ill start a thread soon in the for sale section for wrecking this ED, its straight as, and other than the head the rest of the car is in good working order.

Cheers

Hey Joshie

A Magna? Yikes. Watch the autos, they tend to die easily.

As for parts on the ED to be used on the Lane? Stuff all really, except for the bits you have listed which are non factory add ons.

Sad to see it go, but, s**t happens.

Got board today, so I pulled the head off of the old girl in preparation of selling. Its been sitting under a tree since the head gasket went a few months ago, and I want some money towards some rims lol.

Ill take the rocker gear off later tonight and get the head pressure tested and skimmed next week. Anyone know how much a VRS kit should cost for an ED?

Cheers
