Hi
I have an EB Series 2 Fairmont and the rear bumper is sagging from the body, it doesn't seem to be loose. I was wondering whats the best way about going fixing this? I tried the search function and couldn't find anything relevent. cheers guys |

I'm not sure about on the boxcars, but o the nl I believe their will be a bracke eithersied that you slide the bumper into and sort of slide it eit in, that seem pretty notorious for breaking, best bet check out picka part get a couple brakcet then pull it off to check if they need replacing, probably best to have a second set of hands to.

Don't rule out a broken mount. They can shake apart over years of road vibrations. Happened on my old EL futura and currently have same prob on my EF XR8. Fairly easy to mend though.

Is it sagging at the front or the rear of the bumper? If it's the front corners, it'll just be a case of getting it into the clips. If it's the rear that's sagging, there could be damage to the internal reinforcement.
Generally when they get hit in the back, it can crush the reinforcement bar. I had it happen to mine, but got a brand new bumper through insurance It's not hard to remove. Remove the plastic boot trims around the edges so you have access to the 4 big bolts in the floor, undo them, and then you slide it back from the car.

Don't forget the bolts and screws in the rear wheel arches.
