yea cheers guys i was unaware of the traction issues but only having compared it to my mates car( which because of the storm last night i dident get to go in) i really thought 3.7's would have been perfect if i had no traction problems as im still using the btr with the lovely 1st gear to 80km what ...

2800rpm stally something trans wise to get it to change instantly
and yea il be getting some rims to

but consdiering boost isent instant its not like i or my mates car have problems on take off

no slicks i need it daily

yea im talking a flat 4 sec almost everytime mate had 330rwkw and got 4.8-4.6 in his ba auto

but i notice they still lag like a b**ch

looking at putting ba xr6t and auto 4spd in my el xr6 with 3.7diff gears it will make 250-260rwkw with a tune but stock

im looking to do a flat 4sec 0-100 so what u think i should do

the engine and trans will cost 8100bucks
dif gears 350
il have around 3 more to play with

forgot to mention it is an xr :)
doesnt say vct on rocker cover, havent check for watts rearlink or irs yet

but mainly need to know about that pipe at back of intake ???

my mates just got an au and iv got a CAI for him from my el, his au has a pipe near the throttle body that my el doesnt have will this matter if it simply doesnt plug in any where( this small pipe connects to rocker cover

another werid thing my mates au is a s3 and doesnt say any where vct

how much of a diffrence is it in power and cooling. not relating to my xr6 but my r33 has a clutch fan, was going to change it but was told not to on other forums because thermo fans dont cool the car down nearly as much. i know fords love thermos instead of clutch fans and its a good mod to do. is ...

it did for my car i was told by raa when they checked it

possibly the bushes on the alternator having not been moved for 1month have stuffed up causing your alternator to stop working

when i was replacing my radiator the guy told me that the large pipe i had near the bottom of my car was not as good as i thought it to be. he brought up a good point that if its a hot day the road will be hot, making the air close to the ground hot also making your car suck in hot air any body else...

Won't make much of a difference on a near stock engine as the above guys have pointed out. Do your headers, 2.5" cat back exhaust and some intake mods first. When, or if, you upgrade the cam for a reground profile then start thinking about a J3 chip to fine tune it. also id be looking at a cap...

better off waiting till u get what uv said and a cam, chip gave me 10rwkw which i did not notice at all, all it did was stop my car from stalling from the cam

also id be looking at a capa eliminator chip rather than j3
