I'm just about to do this but I need to know where to get the constant 12v ignition from, the bbm solenoid has the red and green wires but as I read it you only use the green, is this right? can someone post a link to a thread that shows all this if possible *edit* never mind I found an answer, alth... |

low profile tyres = minimum 40 psi, the harder you go the longer the tyres will last I believe, that goes for all size tyres, we get people in at work with under 30 psi in their tyres and wonder why they are stuffed, should say maximum pressure on the tyre as well |

I have 18" starcorp racing alloys on my ef futura, the rims suit au's so the dude at bob jane put some spacers or hub adapter on first, this all cost big bucks when I got it done probably around 2004 I reckon, the hub adapters alone were 100 each, 7 years later my advice to people thinking abou... |

thanks for the help, got it sorted, took the crank sensor off and it was completely stuffed, was missing the whole end bit, had been snapped off somehow, took the one off the ef motor and it fired up first time. I must have done the cam sensor correctly as its running, was playing around with it a b... |

how would I check to see if the crank sensor is working? I am using the ef cam angle sensor, i was told the au one will not work with ef computer, it is possible the ef cam sensor is not in the right place but a mate who does these conversions told me it wouldn't matter, I would have thought whateve... |

I have just done the ef to au 2 motor conversion, its the xr6 vct motor, everything is hooked up besides some cooling hoses and vacuum hoses, just thought i would see if it started before finishing it off, I am running the ef bbm, computer, coil pack and cam angle sensor, at first it wouldn't even c... |
