Hi guys i just bought a nice old 1992 telstar ghia for $500

It has the 2.5l V6 in it that has done 380,000 clicks and is in very bad shape, im thinking about ripping it out and replacing it with a Mazda Familer Engine (The BPT 1.8l DOHC Turbo).

Keeping it in mind that the Mazda 626 version of the Telstar has the same engine only the BP (non-turbo), it would most likely be possible to go ahead with the transplant.

If anyone knows anyone who has carryed out this transplant before or knows anything about this subject please let me here your thoughts! I cant find anything on the net about this type of conversion.
