First time I've heard of these panel codes :?: , on an AU anyway. It's all about keeping the engine as cool as possible.
As you can see the scoops are delibretely facing rearwards to draw the hot air from under the bonnet. I've seen knobs turn them around the other way (majority of people), all your doing is increasing the under bonnet pressure which in turn reduces the air flow through the radiator.

The panels have the VIN on them if I recall correctly. I was thinking if I ever put the DART of mine in the TE I'd be using a Fairmont bonnet and hack that up rather than the standard one.

Can't say I like those scoops but everyone to their own. Leon's TE is getting a different bonnet vent setup in the near future.

Well the beast will be up and running before GEELONG all FORD DAY!!!!!!!! The final piece of the puzzle (under the bonnet) has been solved and know comes the fun part.
These SVO Motorsport heads are kick a***, can't believe how anyone could make any better. Both inlet/exhaust valves are stainless and are ground around the base of the stems to reduce flow interferance.

Yep, same as whats found on my AFR's aswell. Should be std equipment on any complete aluminium aftermarket head.

They're x303 heads or GT40P turbo swirl heads as their commonly known. As for specs I'm not sure but they won't be far off the other reputable brands.

pretty ugly on the intake throat area, nothing that couldn't be cleaned up though by someone who knows what they are doing. Components are what I'd expect for an aftermarket 'race' head, performance of these is roughly comparable to an Edelbrock Performer 5.0

I'd prefer to have put the money into TFS or AFR heads but whatever floats your boat.

These are not in the same class as the TFS or AFR heads...

The "finish" in the throats look as rough as the X305 heads I've got. Plenty of under and overhang around the valveseat inserts as well.

Have you had a look at the short turn of the exhaust ports yet? Mine where less of a turn, and more of a square edge...

Plenty of pics of my as cast GT-40X X305 heads here, http://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=52113

That means someone not like yourself :o ? If you ask for it you cop it, simple as that. Mind u I got very good results out of my port without a flow bench!!!!!! Common sense is the key.
Now back onto the motor........ I wish it goes as well as it looks.

You're on f**k drugs mate. BOTTLEDUP made a pretty obvious statement. He didn't mention that he could and whether or not he can isn't the issue. Did your heads go onto your motor looking like they do in those photos or have you spent the time on them like xr8ute has done, which is a pretty nice job after having a look at the link.

You need to grow up and lose the "I know you are, but what am I?" attitude. Stupid kid-brained C***...

The throats were pretty rough XR8UTE :x . The gain from cleaning them up is fairly minimal so I just let it be, can't be bothered spending hours with a die grinder. The manifold porting is what really made it breathe, the heads even without porting are heaps better then the old GT40 ported (Y303).

Old grumble buts has awoken from his sleep!!! First impressions tell me it should be good for a flat 14.0.
As usual had few minor issues. Had to take sump off because the oil pump drive clip wasn't allowing cam sansor to seat properly. Oil pump blew up my factory oil sender. Bloody lifter preload out by .020-.030 thou :x. Slightly on the loose side, it would stop rattling once past 2,000 rpm. I'm getting the trunnions milled down as we speak. Bar this the engine feels very strong .
