You lucky bugger. I'm stuck until the end of the year.
Then it's time to go and make real money! Gonna be great, being able to afford to do everything I want to the car after that :D

shame its just a plan for now, but maybe one day soon it will be reality...

umm i have 3 x 12" pioneer subs, an alpine monoblock, then umm looking to buy 2 x calrion (i think) monoblocks, C2 range JL 6" speakers, and JL 4ch amp. so bit of a mix really... all the gear i have now i got VERY cheap (3 subs and an amp) for $150 i think.

haha making noise just makes more noise. once its done ill be for ever chasing rattles and s**t, but i guess thats the price you pay for a sound system.
anything would help i guess, unless its the actual boot skin vibrating. then it will need a decent bit of deadening.
never thought of the number plate... :/ the list never ends i guess lol

That's quite a list! Are you thinking of installing a head deck somewhere so that you don't need to run line converters all over the place?

I'm earning a decent chunk right now, but when I get out I do want to be a mechanic... so I'll be pretty strapped for cash for a while until I finish the apprenticeship. Probably have to have a second part time or casual job 3-4 nights a week to help a little lol

you want to be an auto mechanic aye?
i ran into an old mate last night whose just become a 4th year diesel fitter up here, doing a short stint at the mine my parents are at. as a first yr he was clearing $2500 after tax, AS A FIRST YR... no substitute for hard work and long hours. bought a fully optioned brand new hilux and a 4 bedroom house as a second year...
its tempting me to move back out this way! :) have a twin turbo fg with all the bells and whistles in NO TIME! :)

yeah post tax... poor fella, house paying off itself, new car, looking to buy an investment property (not even a house, like a whole block of flats or something), and he isnt even qualified yet lol

though he is working 5 on 2 off 14 hour days, on call saturdays... so its not from lack of effort... so yeah AWFULLY tempting for me to return home :)

Yeah but he only has to do that for a year or 2 then he's set for life... He could have 4-5 investment properties in that time lol

I love the sh*t out of it :D helps get plenty of attention.
I try to keep the revs as low as possible through urban areas. It stays at a nice low rumble until about 2 and a half thousand.

It has an annoying tin sound just as it gets to 3grand, always when I stomp the pedal, but I can't work out what causes it, because it only happens about half the time

Still, hopefully when you get yours fitted it will sound just as good!
