Yep, that's what I'm doing. Going to get gears and diff centre through out the year, and drop them in over a weekend. Hopefully Josh pulls his thumb out of his a$$ and does the same thing, so can do both at same time ;)

I got an OBD2 scanner and been using ScanXL to monitor a lot of stuff.
I did a dyno pull using the software, but something went wrong somewhere and the computer spat out 140KW at the wheels and 1000nm of torque!!

Baahahaha that's why I don't like to use those scan tools to check power readings.

Do the scan tools remove check lights?

This one does yeah. But I'm not entirely sure how well, I haven't used it to wipe the error codes yet

I wish I had the 750 for a flash tuner so I can start playing with it and get some extra power out of it.

Sooooo I've been playing with the OBD2 reader with very little luck.
Whilst driving I can get normal readings, for MOST of the car. Even power and torque. Some good stuff there, highest Kw wise I have read is 160 and that was in economy mode....
However as soon as I try to get a decent reading, with the dyno pull software it all goes to s**t and I suddenly get 140Kw at 2300Rpm and 1000Nm of torque.
So I definitely need to screw around with it a bit more to get all the parameters right and make sure the algorithms the program uses are producing accurate data haha :D

Well I purchased it through a local dealer. But you can buy straight from manta, cut out the middle man and save yourself some $$ My one is the V8 3" just required modifying the cat a little to make it all marry up.

One thing I will say against it though is that it makes a really tinni sound occasionally. Not sure if that's just because it's a 6cyl engine and not pumping enough through it so I occasionally get echoes, but normally it sounds great :D

Update on the car
Also more things coming soon. I blacked out the tail lights, looks pretty cool, didn't think it was worthy of a whole post with pics on it's own though.
Saving money now for the tuner, sooooo in 4 to 6 weeks I'll have it then the new diff gears will come soon after

So I've been gone for many many months now.
I fell on hard times financially. But everything is good now and with tax time here I'm looking at some bulk cash to splash on my baby.

So I've done a couple of things:
-Got some new speakers for the front, just crappy Kenwood's from Supercheap, but they are nice and clear
-Started adding red to the wheels. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have a nice red/black colour scheme going
-Added 2 red pinstripes from the front, down the roof on the passengers side, then down the bobtail, wasn't sure how it would look at first, but I reckon it works well

I'll put pictures up tomorrow for all to enjoy :)

I've been doing some work on the interior. Nothing much, but it's what I can afford right now.
I should have most of the work finished tonight, so tomorrow I will take pics etc for everyone to see

So bad weather has slowed my progress. Paint does not dry well when it's raining
So I'm behind on what I was planing to have done.
Another problem I've run in to is when I use top coat on the paint it actually eats the paint and fades it. If anyone knows what is up with that and how to do this properly please let me know

Here's the latest picture I do have of the car though
Nothing new to look at for now really
