Here are the charts. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions!

Comparing to the charts on page one, you wouldn't think they were done by the same person. Would it be wrong of me to expect an equally smooth torque curve in the new tune? Or would this be due to cam or something else I've changed?

Also I notice in my original chart the afrs are down below 12 and now they're above 12. Should they at least be where they were before?

Anyways, let me know what you think...

I should have thought to get the printout this time in hp and FtLb to make it easier to compare the 2...

on full throttle afr should be around 12.5ish so it doesn't lean out on cruise it should be between 14.5-14.7

Maybe they just flow too well??

Maybe they're suited for bigger cubes or even a higher compression??

Bad luck Chad. Maybe its time for the stroker/blower.

If this is the case, I'm just going to have to wait a while. I guess we can't win them all! Stroking would be the next step, but without money you don't get it stroked!

That is NOT correct HP for that engine.

Providing your bottom end is in good nick etc, ie compression etc there is something wrong somewhere as it should be making way more than that.

The first major issue is why is it signing off at around 4900rpm !!!!. That thing should be hitting limiter at 6250rpm no problems at all, so there's more hp there yet.

There is an issue somewhere and I am surprised you weren't advised where and why it would only go to 4900rpm. A freakin stocker will bounce off the limiter no probs so it aint right somewhere :D

Yeah seems very strange that power is dropping off that early.

Yours isnt speed limited is it? Looks like it could be hitting a 180km/h limit as mine reaches that at a touch over 5000rpm in 4th, but then again power is starting to drop off before that anyway on yours.

Heres one of mine for comparison. Much smoother power curve, torque and AFR's, theres is definately a problem with it somewhere man, take it back untill your happy.

Run your own compression test too.

I was told that when they had the top end off, the bottom end was looking good. Something about crossed markings still visible down the cylinder walls?

I had a compression test done about 5000km ago and they all came in between 135 and 145... I don't remember what it's measured in, but I remember the figures. The mechanic told me it was all good.

I found it strange afterwards that they didn't go over 4900... especially since on the road it pulls to 6000 easy, but not game to go over that.

I've been reading Mustang forums and guys on there with the same kits are hitting 290 AT LEAST. One guy got 311rwhp. I've been told that their dynos are a bit more generous than ours, but even so, it's not 50hp generous.

Jeff, there's no speed-limiter on it, at least til 205 where the dyno hits the brake. I had Terry up it to 220 or 240 tho and test it.

I also expected to see something like your dyno chart as far as a mainly convex, smooth power curve and a flatter, smoother torque curve. Much like my original dyno results on page 1.

I found it strange afterwards that they didn't go over 4900... especially since on the road it pulls to 6000 easy, but not game to go over that.

And is it still pulling from 4900 to 6000 on the street and if so, then ask them why not on the dyno :D

From that graph its showing hp topped out around 4500rpm which is BS for that engine. There has to be a valid reason why.

I had GT40x's with a STOCK advanced cam that would sing to redline and still be pulling so yours should be better. I now have AFR185's and CC274 cam etc etc and its lethal up to 6250 and would still be making power over that if I deleted the limiter.

What is max hp rpm of the cam you have as surely its not 4500rpm. I'd be seeking some further answers :D.

Here's the link to the cam specs. It states that the basic operating RPM range is 2000 - 5500. - http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... S-51402000

I'm going to join up a couple of mustang forums and see if I can find a few guys with a similar setup and try and get a look at their dyno sheets.

What effect would it have if the timing is 4 - 8 degrees out?
