Nah Dave, that's on the agenda for today as well as hooking up act, ect and maf to data logger.

I've been playing around with the tune, trying to get the new Pro-M maf to work but it's causing me all kinds of headaches. I'm just about ready to give the car away!

I'll let you how I go with the install. Hopefully this arvo I should be done.

I would have liked to get it under the bonnet, but it doesn't look like it's going to fit anywhere. Might be an under the seat jobbie.

Looks like the msd isn't going in as I've been ginning around with the datalogger.

I'm going to have to look at how I'm going to mount the msd similar to s-tranzor's. Probably a bit of aluminium plate, but I wouldn't know where to start looking.

I used a sheet of 1.5mm galvd steel, measured it to size and cut it out using a 4" grinder, swore a lot, took it back to the shed a few times for a quick grind and file in a few places before it fit properly (lol) Cleaned it up, primed and painted it and it just sat right down over the 2 pilllar bolts as in the photo. The idea came from someone else here who has his mounted in the same spot on his ELGT.

I bought a 75mm Pro-M, just the black plastic one, all because it comes with the maf transfer sheet, so I can get the correct maf curve in my tune. I've been playing around with it, trying to get it to work for a while now, but it's been causing me nightmares the whole time. Even going back to the original maf with the tune I've been running this whole time is causing me headaches. I've just discovered today that I may have a faulty sensor or there's something loose somewhere. I went over a fairly rough patch of road this arvo and it started driving how it was before with the same afrs as before (very rich). I went to my mechanic to let him know my discovery and we had a look around and couldn't pin-point anything. I started her up and it was back to s**t. Will have to get it in for a diagnostic check and in the mean time I've got to program the ew chanels on the datalogger to see if the sensors are behaving correctly.

That's the short answer to you question anyways! Haha

Scrap metal yard man. Or a steel joint and ask for an offcut. I'd use aluminium though.

What MAF did you have on it already?

Nah, the 73mm one is alloy, I think. The pro m comes with electrics that are different to stock.
