Fuel lines and dizzy clearance i'd say.Do these areas still have the coating or is it bare alloy.Nice looking gear by the way.

Went up to BPT to drop all my stuff off and work out my few little issues.
chooka, you're right on the money mate. Dizzy clearance. Regarding the throttle body, they sent me a 75mm in a 70mm box!!! Bloody idiots! Luckily BPT need a 75 and have ordered a 70 in for me. The issues regarding fitment of the BBK stuff isn't really an issue because they fit them all the time. Will be ordering the Warlbro fuel pump in the next day or 2. Getting prices on Mal Wood clutch, rip shifter and ignition set up like schnoods tomorrow with any luck.

Sounding good mate.
Those rip shifters aint cheap, i may suggest just going for a "Billet Products" one (site sponsor). I am using one on my ute and it is awesome, straight gate 2nd to 3rd, much shorter throw and very sporty feel. As far as the clutch goes, are you going for an organic or ceramitallic pressure plate? Also are you throwing in a Billet steel flywheel? IMO you should definately go for it, i am running a Yella Terra one on the ute for some added insurance.

Flywheel!!! I've been thinking about it all day and forgot to ask them. Will do it tomorrow.
I don't know much about the flywheel side of things. By getting a lighter one, this allows for freer revving right? Does it affect torque in any way? My goal in this build is to get as much torque as I can out of the motor and am willing to sacrifice a few kw to do so. The rip shifter BPT supply isn't THE rip shifter. It's one they source from the US. About $450 off the top of their heads tonight, but I'll find out tomorrow. The one you have Jeff, is it just a shorter lever or the full shift mechanism? How much? The clutch won't be brass button or anything like that. I know nothing of their composition but imagine it would be organic. I explained I want drivability but heavy duty.

The lightened flywheel will allow the engine to rev up quicker but in change will sacrifice torque as there is less weight acting with the rotation of the crank. This is why i went for a std weight yella terra one. I'd say their ones are the steeda short shifters, there was a group buy of these on here a while ago, and from what i heard a few ppl werent happy and actually changed to the Billet Products ones. My Billet Products one is the full deal, as i said straight gate 2nd to 3rd and a 40% shorter throw. The clutch i am using is an Extreme cushioned button ceramitallic. The ceramic facing gives it that extra bite and the cushioned button gives it that happy medium between smooth engagement and harsh engagement. They do take a bit of getting used to but you will find it very hard to make it slip, where as i think with the amount of torque and power you'll be making the h/d organic might show signs of slippage.

Flywheel should be a go then!
I'll get on to Billet products and check it out. The Mal Wood clutches are made specifically for the modded big hp engines as far as I know, so mine shouldn't be a problem for them at all. I could be wrong as to the composition of it tho, so I could be leading you down the wrong path altogether!

If you are going to be charged $450 for a rip shifter "copy", I'd just spend the extra $50 and get the real deal. I picked one up for my car, and it's mint. I have a steeda shifter for sale. Just chasing $70. They are better than the stock shifters, but they got nothing on the Rip Shifter. If you are keen, and want to see the difference a Rip Shifter makes, let me know and we can organise to catch up some time soon.

They had trouble verifying my debit card, but once they had it verified, they sent it out the next day, which was the Friday, then the next Thursday I was called to say it was here, ready for it to be cleared through customs. Organised for them to clear it and picked it up on Monday afternoon from their depot. The whole lot was about $3100 US plus shipping which was about $380 US. Then when it landed here there was duty and tax and other handling charges totalling about $800.

Just a handy hint when buying from the states is keep your items under the $1000 Aus and you wont be hit with duty etc.This may mean getting items boxed seperately which most sellers are happy to do.Also usps priority mail international is the best for price and reliability.

I went through BAX Global and found them to be extremely efficient and reliable. Their depot is only 5 min from my place as well. I bought most of it as a kit so wouldn't have been able to split it and Summit didn't have any interest in doing seperate sales. All goes on the one invoice for the exact price paid. I couldn't be bothered f**k around anyways... just wanted my stuff. Labour is about 1300, plus clutch, flywheel, ignition setup, fitting of fuel pump and shifter.
