I ordered a 1000 amp Odyssey battery today and will get some nice gold terminals to go on for a bit of bling under the bonnet. I like the look of the terminals with LED voltage readout.

They aren't the cheapest of batteries, even at my price, but if I've always wanted one and can now half-pie justify it with everything else that's going in.

Cheers mate. It's not working too well but I think its the computer I'm using. Just a bunky out the back of a workshop. Will check it out when I get home.

Yes Swine. It'll probably get a wash today (if the rain clears for a bit) then I'll take it for one last drive tomorrow. Going to watch the horses run around in circles today, so there'll definately be no driving tonight! Got Monday off, so will get it up there nice and early. I'm feeling like a kid at Christmas. :D

Hey Scaffy, did you convert your car to a manual with the clutch pin kit?

I took a picture of the motor today as it was when I left it at BPT.

Am looking forward to being able to post up the "after" pic!

I won't really be able to do much updating throughout. I'm hoping it's going to be a painless week and only hear from them when they tell me it's ready. With work, I doubt I'll be getting time to get up there through the week to take pics, and I don't want to be seen as one of those pain in the a*** customers who are always there, buzzing around. I used to do custom car audio installs and had to put up with them all the time!

It'll be down the drags next Wednesday I'm hoping.

I'll be one of the ones with the bonnet up! LoL

Not as much as me dude!

It looks like it's going to take a little bit longer than anticipated.

Terry has gone on holidays for a couple of weeks, leaving Jack and another dude in there with a mountain of work. My motor is stripped down and the new cam is in. When Jack was about to begin putting it back together one of the lifters fell to pieces in his hand. A new set has been ordered and hopefully they get them today and work can resume.

The shifter looks like it's not gonna be in til mid next week, but that'll probably be ok cos I doubt the car will be ready by then anyways.

The clutch and flywheel will probably be going in today if the lifters aren't there.

They've got a pretty huge workload on, as usual, so am just going to have to wait til it gets done.

Sounds pretty familiar aye.

If i was you i'd ring up and say, put it all on hold till Terry gets back  .

I know i wont be going in to see about a re-tune then, unless Barry is there.
