It wouldn't boost anymore with that exhaust.. Its pretty old and rusty.. I'm happy with low boost until I get a proper computer.

that exhaust must be super restrictive to stop it from boosting... |

That makes sense....I had a blocked cat which stopped me seeing over 5psi. Once it was fixed 10psi was immediately available. Massive power for such low boost! Must be a very efficient engine. You'll get some great results when you can turn the boost up. Joe

after over a year of continually trying to get it right at mikes dyno tuning iv gave up.. i cant strongly enough recommend enough that no one with a i6 go there, he is an absolute prick, with possibly the worst service i have ever gotten in my life.
iv returned there over 15 times with repeated problems that a brand new motor should not have, only to find that the same problems existed when i left his workshop. ive replaced the entire rocker gear myself and it seems okay for now. on the cards for the next couple weeks are a 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust with magna flow mufflers and a 3.5' cat, remove batteri to boot and set up a proper cai with heat sheild, redo the ugly cooler piping i have and have it as short as possible with mandrel bends, custom accelerator cable to stop the turbo heat from stretching it, fit a oil catch can, and retune it with a microtech lt-10. should see a 300rwkw pretty easily. some of the work is being done myself, and the harder bits by Anthony Rodrigues @ maztech. my experience with his has been nothing short of exceptional, he is a whizz in tuning microtech's and my only regret is not taking it to him sooner.
