Interesting, deffinately great Ideas, the patrol land cruiser chops, good rigs in duelcab, Ideal.
and also get rid of those rear sidewindows that areworth a fortune.
those side windows might be used on the back wall, dont know yet it depends if i can cut and modify them or not!
or maybe if i come across a better option ill use it, maybe a back window out of a F100

Seriously check out what there worth, and what they go for before you use them for the rear.
I'd aim for something easy to find a cheap replacements down the track. Then again, what cheap about 4b's.

I can give you this info, make a template of where you want the window, take this template to either Viridian Glass or GJames. They can make a window to suit whilst still remaining legal. You cannot cut and modify the existing glass. It's toughened, it will simply shatter into a million pieces.
no need to cut or mod the actual glass! the existing ones only need the frame they sit in modded, but still gonna look at other options first

dont know if it helps with a patrol, but when we did the early ute chop on my suzuki sierra, we welded the rear door in for the back window, sounds dogy i know but thats the only way it would pass the cert, just made cool little quaters and welded the c-pillers in and the backdoor shut, wored the treat and with some grinding and body filler looked good, then of couse my try was too short so i scraped that and put a proper ute body on.

may be an idea for u tho, if u need help with any 4x4 stuff, thats where ive lived my car live since i was 16 so i know a bit about them, manly sierras and luxs tho, a patrol is my next idea ;)

Nice great work mate, I didn't realize you were going to fit a tipper setup.
yeah, hard to say on the bar, personally I reckon, just have another crack at a custom bar, just remember going to far to doesn't always workout.
Definitely came out well, what window did you end up using in the end?

i ended up going to a place called Jennings Machinery Glass and they cut one the size of the hole i cut out and fitted it with new rubbers, approval standards stamp and nice thick glass all for only $217

calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'
