How scarce are parts for BDA motors these days? I've only ever seen one in real life, in pommyland, RS1800 I think?

we just rebuilt the motor in the car pretty easy to get bits for it
there were /is about 10 still racing here in Aus :)

S3 or S4 there? i see some aquared off rear guards that why i ask my old man has a yellow S2. ive had it out on some of the Sydney FM meets..

Are you using a flathead V8 in the Cusso???? I thought Ford went to OHV in '52???? I might be wrong. :|

Hi thats a S2 1964 my bloody head must be somewhere else :roll: :) It has the all steel twin cam ford built by Peter Larner in it (the bda,s sitting on the floor in front of the escort :oops: )
it was one of the 1st of two brought into aus it was Geoghans demo car when they were in Liverpool sorry i am old :oops: :D :D

mines still got the org flatty in it with 3 sp man on column we were fitting a buick nailhead but as its low mileage one owner I will leave it at present

now our Aussie cussos got the first OHV in 1955 (272) in USA it was 1954, hence my old clunker has the sidevalve ,by the way the motor in my T model is a Customline 8BA

new screen and rear w/dow in, waiting for the new ext door handles from states ,its cheaper to buy new ones than get the old ones rechromed here :roll: :)

stereo will be fitted behund radio blank when we hinge it .this is first radio fitted to it

coming along nicely, despite a slight camber issue, hehe :lol:

Love the look of those old v8's, those tapper covers look awesome.

Also curious as to any details you can give me on those hub cap spikes?

heh heh bit of a camber issue :wink: :lol: :lol:
they are the actual heads the valves are in the block I will post a pic of what it will look like when I get it back to Tassie (same as T model motor)I have bought the finned heads and tripple manifold just have to do some carbys to suit
the bullets I got from NZ the guy advertises in "Trade Me" the wheel nuts will be long bullet ones too :)
