Looks real nice with the XR wheels on it mate. Once it's lowered it will look even better.

king springs are $130 for rears on ebay and i think the same price for the front. which works out $65 per spring, i got a quote of $100 per spring from pedders not intalled, kings would do an ok job for what you want but was told pedders is better, have also herd bad comments from pedders stuff so i just went for kings in my car, havent used them yet but everybody uses them so they cant be too bad.
car looks good on those wheels, would look good on "low" springs
edit: depends who you buy them off on ebay they can be cheaper, maybe mine were $130 including postage

if your going to try and lower it on the cheap if your standard shocks are any good just use king "low" height as you can use the standard shocks, if you go any lower you will need shorter shocks/struts and the car may need a camber kit, and you will find it a bit of a prick in some car parks/ driveways

manual is awesom as long as you have a bigger clutch, mine is the standard one and ive rooted it in a couple weeks haha, definatly need an lsd with lower ratio gearing to the gli diff though,

I only have a standard strength clutch in my car and it isn't doing too bad haha but then again changing to a 3.45:1 LSD will probably help, especially in the wet ;-). I don't think this clutch will last long when its boosted though haha

i know the feeling, my car sat in the shed roughly 4 months or so after i had bought it and gotten in running before i got it registered, i couldnt be bothered at the moment to really do anything to my car, weathers either hot or raining
and sooner or later the engines gotta come back out for a gasget kit and new clutch lol,
