Hi everyone.

Inspired by the forums, I decided to mod my NL Fairlane Concorde. Enjoy.

very nice car mate, love the concordes. What the future plans you got for it?

btw, would you be chasing a set of 5 cheap concorde wheels for spares? :D

first thing i did was take the bonnet protector off... having not done anything to the car ever before... this was like an adventure for me :P this marked the end of stage 1 mod, completed early June 09.

this photo was taken just before i got the car lowered.

with the first stage completed (successfully) it was time to take on stage 2 - suspension. I got my hands on some lowered koni shocks plus a set of lowered springs. the car originally had ford's touring suspension (i felt that it was slightly stiffer than stock fairlane suspension), but with the new knoi's; wow. the car handles so well. i had no idea suspension would make such a huge difference. stage 2 was completed in June 09.

stage 3: grille

i wanted to replace the grille so purchased a fairmont grille (originally silver). it was resprayed and i kept the original center piece.

stage 4: lights.

i wanted white/blue lights. i had two options, as seen in the photos. i chose the 5000k narva ultra blues - useless as driving lights but the road lights up blue :D i also installed some ultra blue parkers.

stage 5: exhaust

late July, i decided to do get a sports exhaust. 2.5 inch system. custom built the stainless steel tips according to my design (just to make it unique). sounds amazing, and i can definitely feel the increase in performance - there is much better response and theres a bit more power. cat, extractors and pod in future.
