some of you proberly seen me make a few posts and ask many questions over and over again

i got my car about 3 years ago now for 5grand had done 198,000kms el xr6 1997 ( not the hybrid )

i was told from the seller a lady used to drive it to take her kids to schol i thought oh yer probs some bs going on there

but once i looked around there were lolly's stuck underneath the back seats and a bra insert in the glove box, so i guess really was a lady owned car

first mod was a 2 1/2 cat back which cost 400bucks super rip off is u ask me
then got extractors, high flow cat and cam bout 1200bucks pretty good price put me at 140rwkw
then cam was making car stall and when i went to park it the revs jumped up and i crashed it into a pos silvia only marks were left so all good, but yer had to get a chip to make the idle smooth which was 950 making 149rwkw honestly the chip felt like it made nothing of an improvment

dident really have a job when i was getting these things done so had to rely on birthday and xmas money so i dident have any fun s**t for a good 3years lol

down the track half a year later got headwork done for 1100bucks including au headgasket

first dyno ran 144rwkw then 148 then 154rwkw as my tuner tuned it, altho my car felt faster when it was apperntly making 144rwkw

few weeks later got some more money and got a custom made metal 3inch intake pipe 200bucks altho expensice very much worth it

interior-

iv spent many hours taking out my dash, and door trims and hoodlining painting every bit of plastic making a red and black theme in my car

havent had much luck as if you use your fingernail to scratch the paint it chips right off iv tried using primer, spent 200bucks on diffrent paints and types

either way it looks cool

changed the cluster to blue led's as everyone does, tried making own cluster back ground but couldent get it to work at night

also have a nice alpine head unit along with a 2grand sub and amp apline 15inch sub and alpine amp, box takes up most of boot

exterior-
stock rims ( voted worst rims ford ever made )
3inch dump tip
painted the bonnet vents black along with the inserts where you can put foglights
front clear indicator has night shade on apart of it
back lights have been tinted

future mods for interior are-
neons on the rooflining
led's along the top of the vynle doormolds that are hiden but at night light up as a line when the door is opened
repaint dash same theme better type of black and red tho
new black carpet or red
sporty seats
parcel shelf with custom speaker set up
possibly a sunroof if i can ever find one for sale

future mods for exterior are-
rims either 18inch deep dish or 15inch old school hot rod looking ones
el gt rear bumper
ba gtp front bumper
some side skirts
ba bonnet bulge with intakes
respray whole car not sure on color
lower the back ( helps with transfer of energy as to not lose as much energy when i put my foot down)
diffrent tip
tint the windows
custom parker lights
led circles inside tail lights
custom number plate
side indercators replaced with ones like those vented ones from ve holdens

future mods for performance are-
3.7 dif
a piston and rod combo cant remember exactly how it goes but its a ba rod and some manley v8 piston leaving only 1mm between piston and head so loads od compression i could get from that

2 3/4inch exhuast if its possible as iv herd a 3inch sometimes gives a gain or the air flow is not enough and it stuffs the performance up

a shift kit trans mod actualy changed in the trans not the ecu bout 350bucks

2500rpm high stall
possibly a diffrent cam
thats all for leaving is n/a basically going for maximum n/a performance then boost

for boost was thinking of supercharging to begin with as i would like to keep my engine in my car for a while before i get the ba xr6t engine conversion
still unsure of what superhcarger and what not

basically going for a 0-100 killer, iv chosen a bad car to do it in tho heavy, rwd, bad gearbox

once iv had enough with this engine it will go into a cortina

i will then get the ba xr6t engine and tune it up for 0-100 once again
also if its possible ( altho very expensive) get the zf 6speed auto

any advise or ideas on basically anything is welcome

here are just some pics older pics tho will get more up and possibly some vids

If that was including fitting thats an alright price.

If you cleaned the plastics well, sprayed a number of colour and then clear coats on you shouldnt of had a problem even with Supercheap Autos brand of paint. I used black in mine, and its held up fine - theres no scratches or chippings, other than where I hit one piece with a screwdriver

lower the back ( helps with transfer of energy as to not lose as much energy when i put my foot down) - no, actually, if the back end was higher with softer springs and shocks you'd have a better accelerating machine

2 3/4inch exhuast if its possible as iv herd a 3inch sometimes gives a gain or the air flow is not enough and it stuffs the performance up - just go for the 3".
still unsure of what superhcarger and what not - snort kit

finished the interoir bout half way through last year but had to keep trying to get the paint to stick better, cheers

soon enough il make the red a little darker with possibly some flake or something nice
and the black more shiny using pro equipment rather than dodgy cans

keep the traction, it has problems some times and the sub helps, once i get it more power i will need even more weight ( another two 12inch alpine subs)

haha what should i take more pics of? ( and no one be stupid and say 'your car')

just found out today the white paint on my roof is full or surface rust and the white is comming off any ideas on how to fix ?
