just thought id put a build thread here on my xp,,, plans are= au turbo engine, xf four wheel disc brakes ,xf diff, leather trim, power window's, air con , cental locking, power steering , pretty much everything a late model falcon has but all jammed into an old xp but with keeping the body lines standard, ill put the link up to the photo bucket link up for the slide show and when i learn to put single photo's up i will explain in detail on how i went about making the parts fit, in the mean time any questions about anything just ask and i will help in any way i can

yep thanks for that mate, its a four door sedan, just wanted to do something different as every second has a v8 or a worked cross flow, the only down side is everthing has to be custom made to get it fit and work

this a pic of the mock engine in place and you can see the xf booster and master cylinder bolted in place,this requeirs the shock tower to be notched out to make room for the longer a**,also hads to redrill the firewall and the pedal a** box to suit the xf bolt pattern, to get the motor in there i had to cut the firewall and the transmission tunnel and a set of custom made engine mounts.When i finalize the engine mounts to the way i like i will post pics up them, the inlet manifold is just a clunker we made up to get the wiring done to see if we could get it to run. more pics when more work gets done on the ol'e girl

How's it coming along mate, definitely a bit different, think I've seen one person doing similar, with the turbo e series. in an xk-p.
The electric windows air con etc. are you planing to hide disguise etc. or basically just plug in the new s**t and cut a hole. I had similar plans for my xl with the plans for all the creature comforts, but hidden and disguised, even was hoping to trim a bench seat. and repad for a bucket type feel, when sitting, although not visual etc.

meh, big ideas, ahwell, maybe one day I'll have another go.
