The hardest part of turboing an egas is the mixer....
I would go SVI then Turbo..... But even SVIing a Egas would be fun.... You would have to change the ECU, Engine Loom, Throttle Body etc (get it programmed to run on the ECU by Ford)

Man these motors are pretty entertaining, i swear if there were more around like sbc and 5L windsors people be on to them. incidently you can just bore the 426 to 4.32 to get 440 but apparently stroking is the better way.

Thanks AU, much appreciated. Had a quick loook at that link, and once i have a bit of time spare i'll have a good look at it. If i remember the Lads From phase Auto's in Melbourne were building a turbo B-series Ex-taxi as a track car a while back, but f**ked if i can remember where the thread is!!!!

nah i have no registered car, currently parting out my old fairmont to get the other one going and regoed. i live in newcastle its a bit far to travel anyway lol, maybe one day ill show my face down that way

i managed to get the parts for it yesterday off another member when they came up to buy my seats so it should be running tomorrow if the rain holds off long enough
