wellll .... EB is stalled [still] while i work on the AU wagooon ..... the BA parts car for the EB is home & currently waiting lol :roll: i'm 'hoping' to do similar as a coupla others have done converting their cars . . . :mrgreen:


have all the parts needed for the EB [except brand new brakes] .. usual prob tho ... need ta 'clear' room so i can work on it :? & get the blooody cat of the tailgate :roll: :lol:

well bought a replacement engine loom as i want to make the sure before modding looms that the car can run via a manual loom & ECU

buggar me if it didn't already have the speedo sender wiring attached! :lol: also grabbed a matching ECU. so now the white EB parts car needs to be stripped for the required parts [if you need some or all of whats left msg me] get it removed [no $$ in scrap now :cry: ] & bring home the BA so i can fit the EB box & try gettin it running :roll: :mrgreen:

From memory small differences between engine looms,
BA had one knock sensor ,both cams were controlled together
BF has 2 knock sensors, cams are controlled individually, looking on mothers car looks like hego sensors may be on the engine loom too not sure there though

The PCM i would say is BA.

3R23 will be your pcm sofware. The other numbers im not to sure about.. In my work manual I have the wireing diagrams for the ba,bf,and fg if you need sum pics of them just let me know and il post them to you. I know the ba body loom is alittle different to the bf so i pressume the engine loom will be different aswell.

yep it's for the wagooon :roll: .... 1st have to get it on the road :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: then remove EB1 wiring & fit modded EB2 wiring :|

thanks ... currently driving the 'yellow peril' aka ex taxi wagooon ... which i would love to throw a 5sp into ... have everything to do it .. but time :roll:

ok :roll:

have finally pulled the auto ring gear and currently in the process of fitting manual flywheel & clutch. whilst it's raining i'm stuck inside .... so might as well do something in it Aye :shock: :lol: hopefully have the box in sometime soon. diff needs to be changed to the 3.27 i bought as the 3.08 just won't cut it :? have also 'found' a 3.45 diff at a 'wreckers' just down the road :shock: supposedly with LSD :?: for just 300 ...... :roll:

box going in is the one from the white EB i'm wrecking. oil for the box is either Dextron2 or 3 yeah?? anything else added to it :?: :?: :?: EB has a 3.27 diff


anyway ..... i'll keep errr 'pluggin' away ....

gearbox is in :roll: clutch cable is is in ... but waiting on removal of LPG wiring from clutch cable entry point [firewall] :x dunno where i'll put it now :?: change diff & fit a 'replacement' exhaust, workout lpg/petrol switch wiring :roll: then see if i can get her started/running before replacing cracked dash :|
