Grats on the progress Mad!
Certainly a shame about the rain haha but was nice imo.

You get the box and cables into the AU or the EB?
*edit: for the ex taxi AU I'm guessing haha*

Also would like to pick your brain instead of starting a new thread :D
Broke a clutch cable on Friday in the middle of traffic, went to repco and burson for a replacement one but they can't get an EB one in until Tuesday :|

Do you know if the EB and EF/EL ones are interchangeable?
They're different part numbers but not sure of the differences off the top of my head.

A- think they can be used instead :?: when i bought the AU box & parts, it came with a cable which "i'm" presuming is an AU cable. it's slightly longer.

welll got the fuel switch wired up correctly this time :?: [i think as gauge is working lol] also fixed the fuel leak at the tank  ... had to bend the clip 'legs' a little, which worked. have tried a 'few' times to start her . . . but no luck. when i was out at me mates place [checkin i had fuel tank pipes fitted correctly  ] & talkin cars, he mentioned about a blocked filter on one of he's cars. so seeing as i have spark [checked with a timing light] i will try a differant filter. are the EA to AU filters the same pipe fittings or differant?

Cheers

nothing much has been happening ....

shortly picking up a val half cut & bringing the EB2 home to strip & fit to the EB1 [including the gas system!]. Have just recieved a full set of electric window winders so i can convert em from manual. Do have the wiring looms for them, but not sure if i should put the dash loom with the EB2 wagooon [no elec windows or factory cruise] or use the EB2 sedan which has the wiring for cruise & windows. And today just found a XH tensioner in fair nic & cheap. been thinking for awhile about fitting a AU motor with the EB inlet manifold & either the EB or AU aircon pump. Still have the AU to strip the last few items out of ie motor/box wiring etc etc.

ahhh welll ....... i will keep plodding away . . . . . . no rush  . . altho other half has finally stopped trying ta get rid of the EB lol

ahh stuff it ... will put wiring looms from the EB2 S in & modify/adapt rear wiring loom/s. this will be fun ... lol ... removing all looms from EB1. then more fun replacing lpg wiring :|

Anyone able to explain to me how to tell what series motor i have in me EB2 .. ignoring what the head says? or do you want a pic of said motor/head
