seeing as i was sooo slow getting a into g .... i needed another wagooon to replace my previous EB

Image

i now have this base model

Image

altho why its been set so high in a***??

Image

car drives & stops well but the a*** has to come down from the clouds ... only problem i had was unlocking tailgate, which turned out to be a pain as i hacked the internal cover so i could get the number plate section out :| .... then found out that all i needed ta do was turn key hard left & pull handle  so i put in a 'cover' to hide to 4 smallish holes & on side pieces to match

eventually throw sum speaker covers in factory spots

and changed steering wheel to this which i prefer [compared to original]

Image

petrol tank needs ta be changed as it appears to be leaking & fuel pump aint working. can a CPI handle the fuel pressure from a MPFI pump??

Thanks

eventually i will change to this style of cluster

Image

the EA sedan i will be wrecking soon will give up its front wiring looms, cluster & MPFI for the '91 wagoon .... think maybe the Ghia wagoon seats will go in or mabe the ones from the EB2?? lol as the EB will be converted to an enclosed trailer

also have tried led lighting as most here seem to be doing

Image

Image

Image

Image

interior pics were taken on me samsung with no flash or any other xtra lighting .... only interior car lights [main roof light & rear cargo light] i used 4 sections in the main light [1st pic shows 2 sections] & lights ARE brighter in person!!

ohh thinkin of using EB2 front doors instead of EB1 doors just for the 6" speaker placement ..... thoughts??

do you mean the section that mounts to the factory spots & the headlight base??

i don't really like the headlight covers i have ...... they are 'about' a 4.5 inch hole where as the lights are/need an 'approx' 5.25" hole so as there is minimal light "blockage" ... i intend to run max light coverage ie 90/130 outers with 120/130 inners & see if i can use the 150's [sealed] i have [pretty sure thats the wattage] that i used on a previous car [which ran 90/130-120] and was great fa night cruizing lol at 120 [altho thats a bit hard ta do nowadays!]

wellll ..... nothing much has happened with the wagooon [surprise surprise....]

have moved again [now with garage AND covered carport :) ]

still have the wagooon BUT now hava EB 'S' as a parts car.... currently cleaning out garage & carport so i can put the wagooon in sed garage so i can start working on it [before it rusts away . . . .... lol]

'93 S pack with 5 speed, cruise- has rust in sills [altho not a great deal]

Image

Image

comes with a kenwood radio/cd player with aux input & remote .. plays good with me mp3 hooked up, just needs a sub.... any ideas anyone??

will use all front wiring [except ABS], dash, motor [will check make sure of condition as done 300/400k], gearbox & door trims. all these goodies will be fitted to the red wagooon AFTER i workout how/where the LPG is hooked up as i want to keep it. wheels are now either whats fitted to the re 'S' [snowflakes] or this 'S' or??

incase your wondering i prefer the wagooon to the sedan coz i want LPG ... girlfriend years ago hada EA sedan with LPG fitted & NO room for a pram!

has anyone fitted or tried fitting an AU roof lining??

so wagooon will use the '93 EB wiring [front] with an LSD out of an EA [rebuilt & fitted with the centre out of the EB sedan- 3.27:1] box/engine out of sedan, possible door trims [larger front speakers], not sure what front seats? [EA ghia wagooon?, '91 EB wagooon [current seats] or '93 [drivers requires repair] or other '93 [?] wagoon??

need some ideas on what other people use to remove plastic trim pieces [ie NOT a screwdriver] as i don't want to break any more than what i have now :(

I have seen one au roof lining into ef and it looks good as 1 piece though not sure if it lined up properly.

With removing trim besides buying the proper tools (which aren't expensive) I have used thin scissors to release clips and have even seen ground down long nose pliers to get the job done.

also AU roof lining FTW, would anyone know if we can use AU rooflining in sedans ?

i know EA-EL are same

p,s its not to hard to be lady like and re glue material on the lining board etc but a AU one might be in half descent nic already
