2 things i cant work out, i cant fit the Vaccum unint on the heater box behind that dash it just wont allow the dash to go back far enough, are the NC and NF ones different?

Also since changing the Dash skin over to the dual air bag one the glovebox clip would not fit so have to work out another way of securing the glove box

It lives, got the rest of the loom plugged in, hooked up a battery and turned the key over, fuel pump primes all dash lights come on and it says i have no fuel witch is right, smart lock is flashing like crazy still, have to put in learn mod apparently, not sure how if anyone knows what to do.

need to change the altenator plug as the NF one is 2 pin and the NC one is 3 pin.

Other than that its pretty much finished

I'd give you the column from mine but I need it to steer it!

You sure it wont fit somehow?

To train the BEM to the key, just leave the car in the Key on engine off position for an hour.

Very noice!

I have spotted a DL around the corner which I hope to buy and swap the interior over, put the DC interior into storage.

How hard have you found it? Were there that many extra holes needed to be drilled?

99% of everything fitted, had to trip 1 grommet hole on the fire wall to fit the big EF Loom plug,

Door handles needed new holes other that that all the same.

will have to put new holes in when i do the handbrake

also EF seats dont fit so have to work out a way to mod them to fit the NC floor pan

Re the climate control vacuum unit, yes you have to relocate it.

I put mine nearer the centre console. Built some brackets to suit.

Cheers

Ok few issue's

When i start the car the D light on the dash for the gear selector flashes for a while and the P light wont come on when its in park.

Car feels like its miss firing really bad or only on 5 or 7 cyls.

any ideas?

maybe i need the Auto Gearbox control unit from the EF aswell?

Also when car fires up thermo fans come on full pelt constantly

Ok well pretty much finished now. just need to fiddle with a few bits and pieces.

Put the EF seats in, i took the inter brackets from the NC seats and bolted them to the rear inner of the Ef ones, seems pretty good but it site about 10mm to high in that corner will work with it.

All trims dash blah blah finished all electrics work other than climate control as i have not relocated the vacuum unit as yet.

Still need to get a EF steering column or modify the NC one to fit on the Ef dash and box.

Pic bellow
