Yeah thats true, the std block will handle a nice stout streeter and a mains girdle is a definate on a 347ci std block.

It should make 280-300rwhp quite comfortably.

coz of ur 1.7 ratio rockers.

when i stroke it i might put 1.7 ratio rockers which will bring the lift to 544 of lift. but i might have to check piston to valve clearance.

I dont think there'd be that much difference in power between if i ran 1.6's or 1.7's.
The fact that i have .017" more lift isnt what gives me the extra HP.
Your cam also has 4deg more duration on the exhaust and is on a 114 LSA compared to my 110 LSA.

1.7 rockers will not clear on your engine. Fortunately for you we've been there and tried that ;)

What gives you the impression that your heads have more flow?
Sure your 4 into 1's and twin 2.5inch are going to give a few HP up top compared to my Tri-Y's and twin 2 1/4".

At the end of the day theres only one way to find out. Get it tuned and Dyno'd and post the results.

I'd love to get the opportunity to check this beast out in the flesh.

I used 58cc chambers and my mate used 60cc chambers.
How much did you pay for your heads? PM me if you like.
Do you have the exact part number of the heads?
