Sounds nice mate.
The XE270HR your running, is that on the 112 LSA or 114? As i was saying, my mates AU 220 is very similiar. Mods are as follows. AFR165's XE270HR-14 cam Yella Terra 1.6's Custom Airbox with K&N 4" Pod Pacemaker Tri-Y's Twin 2.5" Exhaust 24lb Injectors 75mm MAF 70mm Tickford T/B Explorer manifold, match ported Mallory AFPR Flash tuned by Xtreme Ford Tuning Its running a rebuilt T5, Extreme ceramic clutch and stock diff and gears. Made 303rwhp and has run a best of 13.8@100mph with a shocking 2.3 60ft on 19" wheels. I think you should make your 300rwhp easy. My mate is also looing at a re-tune through BPT. How do you find the 3.7 gears with the T5? Too short? Could be shorter? Let me know if you have any of your old parts from your engine. Send me a PM if you wish. Cheers Jeff

i have the 114 lobe separation on my cam.
you wouldnt want anything shorter than 3.7 , 3.9 would b too short and u would probably lose tourqe. 3.7 is perfect i have the standard 65 mm throttle body that i would sell. ive already sold my gt40,s for $300 what kind of fuel regulater do u have and how much did it cost |

Gee $300 is a bargain for the 40P's.
How much do you want for the 65mm T/B, PM me if you like. Im using a BBK fuel reg which i bought of a forum member for about $80 from memory, as i said above my mate is using a Mallory fuel reg which cost around $120 from ebay.

Its up to you mate, i dont need one but for the right price i'd grab one to have sitting here. I would have reccomended just fitting a 70mm Tickford T/B, straight bolt on with no mucking around, and plus they look heaps better. Jeff

NOOOOO Jeff he just spent his hard earned on the Edelbrock unit...
Tony's AU is very similar to Dave's, except we didn't do the engine build, just supplied the parts for him. Another fuel reg to consider is the Aeromotive, its a straight bolt on unit.

Im using a Walbro 255lp/h fuel pump, which i believe is a copy anyway. My mates AU 220 is running the std fuel pump still.
