Cheers Johnny. I have done the change twice and it was relatively easy. Once on my AUIII and on my mate's FG MKII. The fronts just require new Discs (of course) and a new Outrigger for the calipers which can be had from Ebay for about $150.00 a pair ( I was lucky to get mine for $115.00 pr). The Rears may require a little bit of work around on the backing shield but, not hard to do and the Calipers for the rear are used on a Territory and can be gotten from Ebay also for about $75.00 each. Pretty easy to do.

would i be correct in saying the main way to pick the differances between the two is to measure from the bolt mount hole to the sliding pin hole [centre to centre] yeah?
also the 322mm disc's i bought with pads uses the same pads as standard [don't quote me on the 322mm mentioned..... just don't want to go looking for them again to make sure of size ] |

I also have the upgraded BF 322.mm and 328.mm calipers plus discs to add. I have brand new rear arms and and also will be pulling out the cradle to change it's bushes. I have been waiting for the weather to be a little better. This is a quote from papasmurf from fg manifold conversion thread.not sure if this helps at all? nah that doesn't really help me. refer to my previous reply....... |

{USERNAME} wrote: Hopefully he may log in and see your post, but essentially it's just a slightly larger carrier for the larger caliper but still bolts to the same spots/way the other carrier does. Do you have the larger rotors and calipers? yeah i have the larger rotors etc. went to a local wreckers/car parts supplier & i think he has explained the differances the best. unless you know the differances it's best to measure from the sliding pin centres to the bolt locating hole centres, this gives you a slightly longer measurement of 'about' 5mm [think it was] which for a 'novice' is the best way to make sure. |

{USERNAME} wrote: hey dude, none of your recent images show up for me. shiiiiit! .... really?? got no idea why that is so AU sunglasses holder base has been glued in. pic of me 'dummying' up insulation before fitting. {DESCRIPTION} pic of insulation fitted. what's not shown is insulation paper in main roof rails as what you see would not fit down there. then some expander foam was used to hold paper in place. not a lot of foam was used as i didn't want roof to buckle. {DESCRIPTION} up next is recovering of headlining .... any tips from anyone Last edited by Mad2 on Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:36 pm, edited 3 times in total. |
