How hard was it to fit the rear seats so they become wagon rears. :?

Nah not that hard just a bit of playing around, the seat brackets are different so you'll have to adjust the height of where they sit as you can see i was still able to use the wagon lower bolt hole then just had to drill a new hole for the top half of the seat bracket.
Once you get them fitted and lining up with the latches you then have to take off the sedan side bolster fabric or leather and stretch them over the wagon bolsters and foam then bolt them back in and tuck any overhanging material away the best you can.
By the end of it with mine you cant tell they were out of a fairlane with how they look just the room between the back of the front seats is reduced a bit cos even being long wheel base the wagon seats are still a little bit more forward compared to the fairlane just so it can accommodate for the wagon boot area. still tho its no where near as bad if they were in a sedan so dont stress.

Some new pics......interior and exterior pretty much finished just need to fix the stuff up involving the bonnet one day before AFD!
Was only meant to be the bulge done in the kevlar/ carbon look but that went pear shaped after some paint peeled off when removing the excess vinyl :?
Am going to get the whole bonnet wrapped hopefully should still look alright.
The gear boot is not properly fitted and need to figure out how to fit the different shaped FPV accel pedal to mine as well as change the xr badge on tailgate to the tickford wings.
After this pretty much all cosmetic/ looks are done then its just fixing few mechanical things and play around with suspension bit more and that'll be all i can handle with working on this car!!!

Been a while since got under the car but had enough with the clunk sound in the front end.
Bit of hitting and kicking and found the sway bar links were completely knackered so went and ordered some nolethane ones.
Also did a new clutch not long ago, its nothing special just a little bit heavier than standard, broken T5 shaft= the best clutch aligning tool!

The list as of now.......

1. Fix squeak from the front right top control arm mount.
2. Needs lifters!!.... the slight tapping sound is getting worse.
3. Need to loose a leaf and bag the rear end so can stop it from occasionally bumming out.
4. Finish bonnet
5. look at swaybars..... front and rear end is still a bit floaty for my liking.
6. Front XR lower bumper pods/moulds
7. Finish attaching gear shifter boot to console and look at shorter gear stick or quick shifter.

yeah thats cool each to their own, some of my mates like the look and then some are just s**t scared of gutters!!
Was it the old rims or new ones you were talking bout? not sure what you mean by right to the edge without rim??? if its tyre profile then yeah id def like to have a bit more than a 30 profile on 245's, but for now prob better off just keeping the guards in place!

The new ones the way the spokes go right to the tyre where most spokes stop at the lip.

Amazingly awesome AU wagon ... really nice work indeed.
Nice all-rounder with interior/exterior and mechanical upgrades.

I think it needs a proper photoshoot done on it.
There's a number of decent photographers down your way that are on a few forums that will really make the wagon look awesome.

Are you leaving the bonnet like that ... or are you getting to completely wrapped???
