hate it when that happens mate...

I've been caught out by the dumbest things... the other day I was snipping something I really wanted... and in the last 10 seconds I put in a winning bid... and was transported to the login screen.. ouch...

prior to that I got caught out by daylight savings and the action ended 2 hours before I got there...

That failed I picked up some extractors from the local swap meet they are just a set of generic press bent extractors but they got to be better then the standard manifold...

Ok, I heated the extractors up so they were nice and toasty and warm and then I proceeded to paint them. Some Pics...

I cut the rear flange off the V8 NF cat so when I remove the cat of the car I can cut and weld the rear end of the tail of the AU cat.

WELL THAT WAS FUCT!

Today was annoying for me, today I went out my father's place and proceeded to install the extractors, removed the old headers and cat etc. Installed the extractors and proceeded to get underneath to start playing with the NF cat and I was spewing, the angle of the extractors mad the cat unworkable with our tools. If we proceeded it would of had bad ground clearnace.

So I am going to either sell these extractors on Evil Bay and purchase some that if a direct bolt up jobbie, or get them installed professionally.

Pictures to come,,

Last post 2009.

It's been awhile, I had this car for a further 7 years the last year of owning it i hit a pole and bent the bonnet and front bar (I wasn't being a d**k head.... kids pre-school plus a stupid carpark, grass + rain)

Sold that and got into Subarus.... in the last 6 months I have brought a V8 XLS AUII Ute and yesterday brought a AUI Forte Factory manual the “New” Project Car 1998 AU1 Falcon Forte Factory 5 speed 1/400 ish made (apparently ha) needs a few things like good lining, bonnet struts and to f**k off the low low low whatever’s front springs / struts.
