some time next week, hopefully, not in a rush, dont want another dented door lmao

ps, will tidy the body up a bit and make it look alot better then seeing a huge a** dent there

The door actuator will go on defintly next week, so i can lock it properly

Just waiting for some more money to come through to get this steering rack and lower support bar cut,

Reason is my mates cordia had a front end bingle and he is hiring a welder out so i thought stuff it at the same time ill get mine done,

When that does happen will take photos and step by step insructions on how to replace that,

cheers matty

Well xmas is in the next couple of weeks, hopefully i get a job straight after,

My car is getting her present straight after xmas, she has already got a new drivers side actuator and lhr door

She now is getting

lower support bar cut, 50 bucks

steering rack, under 100.000 km old, 50 bucks

4 second hand door rubbers and the 2 big body rubbers, 30 bucks

Should see door and the actuator on before xmas, then we get stuck into the steering rack and the front support bar, also fitting and glueing the good rubbers i bought on

So after that takes place all i have left is

Rear Bar 300 bucks
Black roof liner, 90 bucks
Rear suspension bushes + brand new rear top and bottom arms 500 bucks fitted
Front bushes, prob looking around the same price
Chrome boot garnish, 50 bucks
Rear uni joint

Then thats it, and in march to may next year, she goes in for respray, 2500 grand and a custom metal boss bonnet bulge, 500 bucks in primer

So the car will have every thing replaced in it, all basically brand new if i decide to sell when im off my plates next september

The AU rocker cover came out mint dude, never though an AU cover would look that good polished because of all the fins but that looks awesome. A nice billet oil cap would set that thing off

How did they polish the rocker cover ????
I assume yours is just RAW metal now WITH OUT a clear finish on it, is this how its is?
If so once you have completed some more final polishing will you out clear on it. And if so what will you do to stop the clear from turning piss yellow?
Mine has a what loos like a gal finish!

there is a few members on here that kept theirs raw, but have to give them a re-polish by hand every month or so

ok every one on here nos i had a misfortuane with a keep left pole and this is what happen

Image

well other day i picked up another lower support bar in ready ness for change over after new years.

So keep a eye out as i will be posting pictures of changeing it over, and in details the best way to do it.

Also while the car is up on ramps, i will be removing the rear bar to rust proof the rear, touch up the rear bar temporially, while the front is off, the thermos and rad come out, also the battery and head lights come out so i can rust proof the front as well, and while im there will be replacing the lifters in the head and putting my polished rocker cover goes on. and will pressure clean the engine bay at the same time.

Also my steering rack goes on as well as mine is leaking had is stuffed

So just need to collect

New set of steering rack boots
Power steering oil
Engine oil, ( might as well change the oil if im doing the lifters )
Couple of pressure packs of my body colour to do some touch ups and rust proofing
and few other small things

So i will keep it updates cheers
