hey its a sweet as car lol i was starting to write a build of my au series one but no one would watch either plus im lazy when it comes to documenting things... im gonna get the same kit as you for mine as well.. where did u get yours and how much? wa sit formt he ebay seller for like $1300?
and on mine i have almost finished my interior then its exterior work
mags look sweet also. i actauly like the Au its still the ugliest ford ever made but its got this certain weird chamr to it that i like.

The wing, boot lid and the rear bar, was off a au xr8 wreck at the wreckers also did have s2xr8 skirts but sold them and bought the ts50 ones, o that cost me 1500 all up over 6 months, for the kit,

bumper i bought last weekend cause i had a drama with myn and got the s**t with it bieng cracked etc, side skirts was from a local guy up here in brisbane and the front bar was from another guy closer to me,

and also the drama i hade damaged the mags i had on so the wreckers had the same ones so i bought them on the weekend as well for 800 bucks mmmm 245 tyeres

dnt buy of ebay wateva u do cause u never no what will happen. i have a local guy up here who is making them so i can see his work before i pay for it

its a bussiness with an ebay shop they are based in bayswater (about 25-30 mins drive) from my house and they make all thier kits interstate but yea i just gotta finish my carpet and i just got ally my entertainment sorted and all my painting done so just roof lining left.
you doing any interior mods? and i assume u ahve that grey interior on it also?

they au xr8 at the wreckers where my mate works has the full black interior soon i will be getting that in my car as well

soon as possible will be getting ba doormolds and painting them, then she goes in for a paint, littlechipshere and there will be fixedlater on by my self and my mate at browns plains wreckers, so will be all good. notherdownside is i dont think i will lower but only the back as i am having troublenow with scrappage on the front bumper so will be done soon cheers

here are some yesterdays after a car wash will be painted soon hopefully have insurance and rego to pay in the next month or so

nuffin much has been happening lately with my car still owe parents and my mate money so hopefully when my tax money comes i can pay them off, i have rego which is due next month 440 bucks up here for a 6 cylinder engine in queensland and my 800 dollar insurnace which will be going up as im letting the insurance company no about my mods i have done so im covered,

so while nuffin hasnt been happening with my car, me and my mate are getting ready to preform surgery on his el xr6,

the modifications we are doing as follows, note, not in any order either,

New engine, head work and a regrind cam, scored a ed block with roll master prefromance gear in it and acl flat top pistions , then adding the s14 super charger for a little bit more kick, been decked 80 thou the block

au s1 v8 lsd in it as well, also has a t5 box in it with a heavy duty clutch

au s1 irs suspension and ba front suspension. will have heaps of photos and maybe ill do up a thread on both suspension as we go

being repainted and body fixed up also as well in i think its a moonson blue,

full interior make over as well, all cleand and all put back,

so thats what im upto at this current moment while im paying people off, cheers

after i pay my mate off, my front suspension gets pulled out , steering rack etc, basically the whole front set up gets pulled out, have to suspend the enigne out of the car to get it out and for it to be easyer to work on,

Then it gets replaced with second hand brand new parts, then i will go get a wheel aligment, then no more worrys and driving around with my steering wheel not align properly, lol.

if everything goes good after that, i will be buying a momo wood grain steering wheel, replacing my sagging roof liner and a metal boss bonnet bulge while im down in melbourne with my mate,

bonnet bulge is 200 bucks and the momo sterring wheel is 250 bucks, my one on the car this present isnt road worthy, so i will be changing it,

then i can start saving for my paint job on my car, will get pics of what needs to be fixed and painted this afternoon if i get a chance, at the moment helping my mate do a ba engine swap, vn auto swap.

so i will be busy till xmas lollol

well i shall be getting my tax back in couple of weeks, got to pay 440 rego, 400 dollars towards insurance and 400 bucks to finish doing my suspension and sterring rack etc,

so thats what will be happening

then ill get some some s2 tailights, ba door molds and another boot spear which says in big letters falcon

then will send it to get my front bumper and bonnet painted, then recoupe money then sed it back to get my door fixed and the little bits and peaces on the car it self and the body kit

Looking much better with the new front end.

and definitely get the taillight frankly look so much better, than early ones.

With the boot spear by the way, just be aware, that the later ones, mount a little differently, and turns out the lid is a little different aswell.
If it does cause you a hassle, I've got a chrome s1 spear off a Fairmont if it's of any interest, but agreed on the s3 design was better, just something i came across not that long ago, and was surprised by.

another modder did this (well a full b series conversion) and found that if u dont change the dash and just wack ba door moulds in the doors wont close right. well the front ones anyway.
so maybe better off getting an interior from an au spac because that is nearly all blakc and painting the little things like the bubble bit in the middle ect.

i was talking about the out side ba door molds on the exterior of the doors lol

oh hahaha im tossing up on wether to respray mine body colur or just steal soem from a wreckers... but i didnt think of b series ones let me know how that goes

yeh, been to all 4 abc wreckers in brisbane, and havent really found the molds, but will keep looking,

just got a aftermarket chrome painted strip for my s2 bonnet todayd for free, and also getting some s2 tail lights,
