my uncle had a look at the car for me today, he reckons its the second hand struts the mechanic put in so its going back to them next week to be fixed once and for all,

should have my hood liner done in next couple of weeks as thumb tacks are holding it up, and a new parcel shelf carpert

pick up my qoute after tafe tommoro

also i get my rocker cover back on friday as well

found out the reason for the boot lid rubbing on the rear bar,

d*&K heads who painted the kit never re fitted the plastic inserts on it so it can be pushed and locked in, reason and part of it cracking as its been flexing around

lucky i have kept my old bar to donate is brackets off

cheers

Either i replace my lifters and fit the new cover, or put it away till time comes for new enigne,

Also will be looking at getting the tb and intake manifold inside polished up as well, smooth it up. better air flow

I have a job lined up, so hopefully i get it and things can start to commence

UPDATE,

wasnt ball joints, the mechanic who did my suspension didnt tighten up my top arm, and it was knocking like f&*K, so i fixed that up yesterday and its all good

searching ebay other day and i found a gold au , same colour as mine, he was wrecking it and thought to my self, lets see if he has a un dented lhr door, each to there own he does and he wants 25 bucks for it, reason im buying it is mine is dented like f**k, and also saves my painter the hassle of attending to the door when he can attend to my 3 grand paint job,

also picking up a drivers side door actuator as mine is playing up big time, 15 bucks, who can complain

next week, car is getting booked in for a black roof liner to be done to replace my sagging one, cost me about 80 bucks as im pulling my old liner out my self

then after xmas going to get my ew rear bar in ready for when march comes around, going into paint then, which will be good

list of things getting done

side mirrors are getting colour coded
side skirts are comming of for some proper painting
door bump stops are getting colour coded
scuff plates are getting painted
door strips between the 2 door windows are getting colour coded,
engine bay is getting a repaint

have to remove the header tank, fuse box and the battery on one side and the intake and anything else on the other side, rad support is getting repainted as well, removing the wiper blades and the plastic cover there to get them colour coded and painted, power steering cover, fuse box lid, my stock intake and box ill get painted as well, my snorkle, might yank the extractors off and get him to paint them as well, new rear bar is going on with my orignal ford brackets, getting a spoiler less lid painted up as well as the wing touched up at same time

Will be repainted the same colour, will be there to help pull it off and and to refit the bars and skirts,

Costing me 3 grand, 1500 for the materials and 1500 for his work

Will be taking photos of the progress as well, when it happens hopefully in the new year,

Also have to replace my front support bar as well before it gets painted, will take photos of that as well on how to replace it

anyways cheers,

got a check over on the car today, every single suspension bushed is rooted, also my power steering boot has ripped, have to replace the boot asap, and replcae all the bushes slowly, when i can come up with the cash

got a qoute on a metal boss bonnet bulge today looking at 500 bucks, bonnet will be cut so it sits in there nicely, all in primer ready to paint

picking up the door actuator and the door on friday, less dents for him to pull.

need to replace everything before i start work, so no saving interruptions,

found a ba ford badge and have glued that to the mesh will take pics of it tommoro
