your wheel tramp would be due to shagged rear shockers and/or control arm bushes..

Nice Car, BTW..

Got new nothalene bushes all through whole car, new shorter shocks should be at repco
now as I noticed they are still standed ford ones in there now, not good with ultra low springs.
If they don't fix it i'll just go for tramp rods I think?

A good tuner in townsville if you are still looking for one is aitkenvale auto & dyno.. they tuned my BA mk2 xr6 turbo.. makes 265kw at the wheels with just a bigger intercooler and a 10psi tune

Horses4courses, what brand and heat range plug are you running? They must have been cold to go for hotter ones! I run 6's in my AU.

How does the car ride and handle with the nolathanes all round? You'll find short stroke shocks help a lot.

Umm sorry to dissapoint but that would be the the tuner ive had to deal with. Im still sorting things out that he has ripped me off for(eg $100 for Iridium plugs......we found bog stock bosch plugs in the car, Temp guage doesn't work, won't idle and a $7500 bill for a so called haltech comp & tune.) I have no faith in this mob.

did you get any sort of written quote either detailing the parts they were going to use or a rough price or both??
If you did you should contact the department of fair trading. Also any parts listed on your reciept that haven't been fitted like your plugs. It may help if you take it to a couple of workshops and find out how much they would charge to do the work the othe mob did and then you might be able to get some of your money back

i dont get some of you guys...

so f**k what spending f**k knows how much on a older model..

au over ba/bf etc.. even ef/el over the later models..

not everyone likes or can even stand the looks of some models...

personally i hate the ba/bfs. they look s**t imo..

just because its a later model DOSENT make it fantastic

mate, the au looks great.. good on you for not doin the normal and buying a ba/bf xr turbo or f**k typhoon...

and id see bout that tuning too... im running 10 psi and making waay more than that, but then again we all know what dyno readings are about..

The car is pretty rigged with the ulta lows and 19" low profiles on it. Didn't seem to make it any rougher adding the nolathane, made it hold up beter through the corners i've noticed. Just got to put shockies in now and see if this axil tramp go's away. Overall the car is a bit rough to ride in on these north Queensland roads but when u want to turn just point the tyres and ur goin that way.

The car's still playin up and me tuner doesn't want to know me so who do people know between Cains and Mackay that I should
try next. any help here would be great as I've lost trust lately :? . lol

The car has a haltech E6X in it.
Cheers.

possibly try Leigh Holman in Cairns. I used to race go-karts with him.

ray hall is also in cairns and does a lot of turbo stuff, not sure if he does tuning or not though.
